Preheat your oven to 400°F & line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl combine the flour, sugar, salt & baking powder. Mix well.
Cut the cold, cubed butter into the dry mix using a pastry blender.
In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, White Claw, vanilla extract & optional heavy cream.
Mix the wet ingredients into the dry. Then, add the blackberries, lime zest, lime juice & white pepper and gently fold it all in.
Don't overmix the dough! But if it's too dry, add some additional *hints* of White Claw.
Place the dough onto a lightly floured surface & roll it into a circle (1 to 1½ inches thick). Cut into 8 triangles & place each onto the baking sheet.
Bake the scones for 16 to 18 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove the scones & let them rest for a few minutes until completely cooled.
